Gas Prices or Extinction?

Let's see - what is more important?  Another $0.30 for a gallon of gas, or your very survival?

The White House continues to send a parade of high level national security advisers to Israel, twisting Israeli arms into NOT attacking nuclear facilities in Iran.  Just the thought of war is driving up gas prices here, inconveniencing drivers here in the U.S.  It also threatens our economic recovery and President Obama's re-election to a second term.

But, really, do we expect the Israelis to give a damn about our gas prices?  Three nukes would just about obliterate Israel.  And they wouldn't have to be "weaponized" to be carried atop a missile either.  Iran could drive them there in a truck, or aboard a small speedboat launched by one of their ships now in the Med.  You don't have to get that close with nuclear weapons, a couple of miles will do.

Israel has to consider its very existence as a nation and a people - they're not worried about how much we pay for a gallon of gas.  Our requests are petty and selfish.  Instead of worrying about gas prices here we should be worrying about ways to help Israel eliminate the threat.
