War for Sale

Why in the world are we still be selling military hardware to Egypt?  The Washington Post reports we are still delivering M1A1 Abrams main battle tanks to Egypt, along with another squadron of F-16 fighters.

This as we've watched older U.S, made M60 tanks and M1 APCs in the streets of Cairo to put down a popular uprising against the extreme measures taken by President Morsi.  Remember, Morsi is the leader of that nation's Muslim Brotherhood - an organization dedicated to bringing Sharia, or Islamic Law, to the entire world.

Wouldn't it be ironic to see American made tanks going up against Israeli tanks in the Sinai someday?  Don't laugh, if we keep up this ridiculous policy of arming Egypt it might soon happen.

Remember, we once armed Osama bin Laden to fight the Russians in Afghanistan.  That worked out well, didn't it?
